Julgranen!

Hi there!

The last week before Christmas, and together
with my husband we made a very nice Christmas
Tree and put the lights on.
We also bought a couple of Santas because they look so “sweet”!
Since I was a child I was always decorating a
Christmas Tree together with the rest of the house.
It gives a very warm feeling…

To continue from yesterday…
Our skin reflects our health, so it reacts very
well to certain nutrients with specific results:

1)  Ellagic Acid and Silica support the skin’s elastic
fibres, so firmness is maintained.
Ellagic Acid is found mainly in most berries and pomegranates.
Silica is found in whole grains, plant foods and water (Fiji).

2)  Selenium slows down the ageing process as a
powerful antioxidant.
Selenium’s best food source is brazil nuts.

3)  EFAs and Omega 3 provide hydration so skin
remains flexible and smooth.
EFAs are found in all nuts and seeds.
Omega 3 best source is wild Alaskan salmon (Sockeye).

4)  Vitamin C builds collagen so skin remains firm,
and reduces free radical damage.
It is found in bell peppers, dark leafy greens, kiwi and oranges.

5)  Vitamin E reduces the appearance of wrinkles,
so skin looks younger.
It is found in all seeds and nuts.

6)  Vitamin A promotes cell growth so skin repairs itself.
It is found in liver, sweet potatoes and carrots.

Also when outside, it is a wise thing to wear a hat and sunglasses.
